Philip Lalonde Named Senior Vice President, Operations, Ad Sales for MTV Networks

We are pleased to inform you that The Cheyenne Group has completed the search for the Senior Vice President Operations, Ad Sales for MTV Networks. MTV Networks has announced that Philip Lalonde has been named Senior Vice President of Ad Sales Operations for MTV Networks starting January 22nd. Philip will work closely with the EVP Operations and Strategy, Carolyn Everson, and President of US Ad Sales, Hank Close, to implement best practices and streamline processes across the sales operations organization.Philip joined ESPN after graduating college and has spent most of his career there. From 1994 to 2000 he worked his way up from an entry-level business position to a supervisory role, directing workflow, counseling, developing, and hiring the staff of four revenue analysts. Philip took a brief hiatus from ESPN in 2000 working as an Account Executive at Outpost.com, and as a Manager of Client Account at Microcast, Inc. Then in 2001 Philip rejoined ESPN, taking on roles with increasing responsibilities beginning with Associate Director, Business Analyst, to his final role as Vice President, Sales Operations. Philip received his BS from Babson College, and he received his MBA from the University of Hartford.
