We are pleased to inform you that The Cheyenne Group has completed the searches for the General Manager/SVP, Consumer Division at Monster Worldwide. Mark Stoever was recently appointed to this position, and will oversee the growth and development of a portfolio of six consumer online businesses that have recently been consolidated into a distinct operating unit, with full P&L responsibility. Mark holds an MBA from Boston University and a BS in Management from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. Most recently, he was a consultant for the Decision Matrix Group. Prior, he spent six years at Lycos, Inc./Terra Lycos, Inc. where he most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer.

 

Monster Worldwide Appoints New Senior Vice President and General Manager, Small and Medium Business Division

We are pleased to inform you that The Cheyenne Group has completed the search for the Senior Vice President and General Manager, Small and Medium Business Division (SMB) at Monster Worldwide. Peter Newton has been appointed to this position, and will have full P&L responsibility and full accountability for the SMB organization, and will be responsible for establishing the overall strategy for the business unit. Peter holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He was most recently Vice President of Advertising at The Boston Globe, before this, Peter was President of Boston Mediaworks.

 

Announcing the appointment of Andy Miller as President, Monster North America

Monster Worldwide, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Miller as President, Monster North America, with responsibility for Enterprise operations and Monster Government Solutions. In this new role, Andy will be responsible for further developing and implementing the business strategy for both of these organizations. Andy will be based in Maynard, Massachusetts. Andy is a proven operator who brings extensive leadership experience to Monster. He joins Monster from TANDBERG, a $345 million video communications solutions company based in Oslo, Norway and New York. As CEO, Andy and his team significantly grew revenue and repositioned the organization from a single product class company into the leading solutions provider. Prior to Tandberg, Andy was with Cisco Systems for ten years, where he contributed to the company's dramatic growth. Most recently, he served as Vice President of US Area Sales (West). His earlier experience at Cisco included leading the company's Federal Government operations. Andy began his career in telecomm sales, working for Northern Telecom and Jarvis Corporation. In addition to serving as Membership Officer of Young President's Organization, Andy is also chairperson of the Stanford Executive Education Program, a board member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a member of the Penn State Smeal College of Business Board of Visitors, and a Fellow of the Aspen Institute.
