Kenneth Nova Named President of RFID Journal
New York
B2B/Business Information
Kenneth Nova, a former marketing executive at Fortune magazine, and later at the National Hockey League, will take over day-to-day operations and look for ways to better service RFID Journal readers. RFID Journal LLC, the event producer, training provider and publisher of the RFID Journal magazine and Web site, announced today that it has appointed Kenneth Nova president. A publishing veteran of 17 years, Nova will manage the day-to-day operations of the company and report to Mark Roberti, who remains chief executive officer. The appointment is effective immediately. Nova has deep knowledge of many different aspects of publishing. Until 2004, he served as a group vice president for the National Hockey League, where he helped launch the NHL’s interactive, direct marketing and retail businesses. In this capacity, he struck innovative deals with eBay, Amazon.com, Nextel, Southwest Airlines and others to deliver benefits for the league’s fans, teams and business partners. Prior to working for the NHL, Nova helped build consumer marketing, sales and development businesses at Random House, Ziff-Davis Publishing and Time Warner, where he worked at Fortune and Sports Illustrated.
