We are pleased to announce that The Cheyenne Group has successfully completed the search for the Chief Executive Officer for Wolters Kluwer Health Medical Research division, comprised of Ovid Technologies and the Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins (LWW) medical journals businesses. The newly appointed executive is Gary Foster, who joins Wolters Kluwer effective March 17, 2004. Gary Foster was most recently the President and CEO of Patientkeeper, Inc., the privately-held software company serving the healthcare industry. He was previously President, Software, Services, and Corporate Marketing for The Foxboro Company, and before that, held a series of management positions with General Electric Medical Systems, most recently as General Manager, Services Marketing. Earlier in his career, Gary held positions with the White House Communications Agency; the Office of Management and Budget (OMB); and Comsat Corporation. He is a graduate of American University and earned his MBA from The Wharton School.
