David Kieselstein is the successful candidate. In the role of Chief Executive Officer, David will be responsible for overseeing the largest privately held business to business media company providing content, insight and marketing to 17 industry sectors.

Previously, David served as Chief Executive Officer of TNS North America, a division of WPP and the world's largest custom market research company, which provides high-quality market research insights to Fortune 500 clients in virtually all industries. During his tenure at TNS, he embarked on a full transformation of the company's operations, which resulted in a significant improvement in profitability across TNS' broad offering, including innovation, brand and communications, retail and shopper, and stakeholder management practices. Prior to that, David led Dun & Bradstreet's Small Business Division, the company's largest and fastest growing division.

 

Mark Flinn hired as Penton's Vice President and Market Leader, Aviation Group

Mark Flinn will join Penton Media in the role of Vice President and Market Leader for the Aviation Group. Mark will be responsible for managing Penton's commercial and business aviation units.

Mr. Flinn brings over 15 years of expertise in launching, developing and executing strategic initiatives as well as successfully driving growth in various media industries. Most recently, Flinn was the publisher of AviationWeek & Space Technology where he was responsible for the group's overall revenue. He directly supervised a diverse portfolio of print, digital and on-site media products serving the global aerospace and defense industry. Prior to that, he held various positions at BusinessWeek including vice president of sales for several cross-platform programs.
