David Arcara named Vice President and Director, Random House Custom Publishing & Media

David brings a strong track record in entrepreneurial business management across the media industry. Most recently, he was President of Alliance Custom Communications, a custom publishing boutique that he co-founded in 2002. Previously, he was Founding Partner and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at UGO Networks, an online network of independently owned websites. David started his career in the broadcast industry. In 1991, he founded DJA Media to acquire mid-market radio stations. He grew the business through an investment partnership with Clear Channel Communications, which ultimately bought the company.
David holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado.
