Matthew Bromberg Named Chief Executive Officer and General Manager for Great Hill Partners
We are pleased to inform you that The Cheyenne Group has completed an important general management search for the Boston based private equity firm Great Hill Partners. Matthew S. Bromberg was recently appointed to lead a new business conglomerate targeting Internet driven companies in the industrial, service and medical sectors. In this role, he will also work across the portfolio of companies, providing overall strategic guidance and specific operational expertise to the single entities as needed. Matthew is a Harvard educated attorney with a demonstrated track record in business building and expansion as well as in the management of profitable operations. Throughout his career he has proven his ability to manage and grow Internet-centric businesses with varied models across many different industries. Most recently, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager, Games at AOL, where he also served as General Manager of the Moviefone Division. Previous to AOL, Matt led the business development function at CMP Media, Inc. Earlier in his career, he was the Publisher of American Lawyer Media, L.P
