Peter Mitchel Named Publisher and Chief Executive Officer for Boat International USA
We are pleased to inform you that The Cheyenne Group has completed the search for the Publisher and Chief Operating Officer for Boat International USA to be based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Peter Mitchel is the successful candidate. As of January 1, 2008, he will assume responsibility for all the commercial revenue across the Boat International portfolio of products generated from the US territory, but with direct and specific responsibility for Boat International USA. Peter has nineteen years experience building and leading magazine publishing organizations. He has worked for large publishing groups, such as Time, Inc., as well as smaller, entrepreneurial publishers. Prior to joining Boat International USA, Peter was General Manager and Publisher for Soundings Publications, publisher of leading recreational marine news and trade magazines.
