Sharon Rowlands Named Chief Executive Officer of Penton Media
We are pleased to inform you that The Cheyenne Group has completed the search for the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directorsof Penton Media.
Sharon Rowlands is the successful candidate and we are thrilled to have played a role in her recruitment. We are equally pleased to have someone of her caliber joining the business-to-business media community.
Most recently, Sharon was President and Chief Executive Officer of Thomson Financial, a $2 billion revenue business, from 2005 to 2008 after serving since 1996 in various senior management positions including President and Chief Operating Officer. She is credited with helping to guide Thomson Financial’s transformation into an integrated global financial information and technology leader.
