Sundeep Karnik Named Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development for Elsevier, Health Sciences Division
We are pleased to inform you that The Cheyenne Group has completed the search for the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development for Elsevier, Health Sciences Division. Elsevier has announced that Sundeep Karnik has been named Senior Vice President of Strategy and Development for Elsevier Health Sciences (us.elsevierhealth.com). Sundeep will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to further enhance and develop their businesses. Prior to joining Elsevier, Sundeep was at Medronic in Minneapolis for two years, working in roles with increasing responsibilities within their Science and Technology practice, specializing in Global Strategy, Cardiac Rhythm Management, Wireless Connectivity, and Remote Disease Management. Prior to Medronic, Sundeep spent over four years at McKinsey where he helped Fortune 500 companies solve challenging business problems across a range of topics, including Strategic Business Planning, M&A, Growth, Marketing and Operations. Sundeep completed his medical training at the University of Bombay in India, and moved to the United States for his post-graduate education. He earned double masters’ degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Rehabilitation and Molecular Psychology. He also continued his doctoral research at the university before moving to McKinsey.
