We are excited to inform you that The Cheyenne Group has completed the search for the Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Publicity at Rodale, Inc.

Rosa Maria (Mia) Carbonell will be responsible for crafting the overall communications strategy and the conception, direction and execution of all internal and external communications initiatives across the company as they continue on their growth strategy. She will be reporting directly to Steve Murphy, President & CEO.

Mia was most recently Executive Director, Corporate Communications at Time Warner since 2002, where she was responsible for day-to-day media relations activities and led the development and execution of Time Warner’s international communications plan. Additionally, Mia’s background includes agency experience gained at Hill and Knowlton, journalist and reporting experience while at affiliate TV stations in Miami, and corporate experience from The Seagram Company, Vivendi Universal as well as Time Warner.

Mia holds a Masters in Education focusing on International Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BSLA from the School of Languages and Linguistics at Georgetown University.
